TRANS4GREEN partnership unites 2 VET and 1 LLL/CVET providers for tourism occupations. The partner-organizations aim to provide high-quality training and make their graduates employable in the dynamically evolving tourism sector.

INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (IMI)

BULGARIA

IMI was founded in 1996 with the aim of promoting sustainable regional development, improving the qualification of human resources and providing equal access to education for young people, incl. those with disabilities and from vulnerable and minority groups. In line with its interests and priorities, IMI has been at the forefront of a number of high-impact, innovative initiatives, covering a wide range of areas and proposing solutions to emerging problems and needs of society and the economy – skills updating, sustainable development, active citizenship, social innovation and digitalization in education and training, to name a few.

IMI:

provides LLL training in different fields;
conducts research in different areas, incl.: social inclusion and social innovation, sustainable development, sustainable tourism, vocational training, validation of non-formal and informal learning.
develops various outputs - innovative methodologies, data-bases, training materials & OERs on newly-emerged topics, mobile applications that support both learners and stakeholders in learning and teaching processes;
organises international forums, workshops and trainings, awareness-raising activities and information campaigns;
helping vulnerable groups, incl. disadvantaged learners and their families, to acquire new skills or improve their quality of life. IMI has established partnerships with Bulgarian and international VET and HEI organizations and other stakeholders.

GRAICIUNO AUKSTOJI VADYBOS MOKYKLA (AVM)

LITHUANIA

AVM was established in 1993 as a business school in social sciences, business and law related areas of education at Level 6, for professional bachelor degree programs in International business management, Tourism and Hospitality, Logistics management, Business law, Marketing and sales management. Adult education was started form 1996, offering formal VET and non-formal training programs in Business administration, Office administration, Accounting, Logistics administration.

Due to the decreasing number of young students in Lithuania, AVM started a reorganization of the institution in 2020 and presently its main activities are in VET education and training (Levels 3-4) for adult learners. AVM is developing a real-life learning Center in a rural area “Čiobiškio dvaras” for national and international learners in tourism and hospitality based on the concept LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability). ŞABAN TEMUGE MESLEKI VE TEKNIK ANADOLU LISESI (Şaban Temuge MTAL)

TÜRKIYE

Şaban Temuge Vocational and Technical High School is a hotel management and hospitality school established in 2001 in Yalova, Turkey. It provides training in 2 main areas: Food and Beverage Services and Accommodation and Travel Services. The organisation:

Studies the needs of the tourism sector and adapts the content of the training offered to meet these needs;
Provides vocational training by combining theoretical training with a practical approach;
Produces training materials and practical guides;
Establish a good cooperation network to improve the quality of vocational training.

Over the years, Saban Temuge Vocational and Technical High School has managed to build a wide network of sectoral partners. It cooperates with many five-star hotels in Yalova, Istanbul and Antalya thanks to sectoral agreements signed to promote the quality of vocational training at the school.
