After months of dedicated work on two of our flagship outputs — the TRANS4GREEN Methodology and Toolbox — we are excited to enter the final stage: validation and refinement.
On May 8th, 2025, our project partner Şaban Temuge Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi in Yalova, Turkey, hosted the first pilot testing session. The event brought together 20 enthusiastic Tourism IVET students who actively participated in hands-on activities focused on three essential green skills, as defined by the ESCO framework:
✅ Fostering biodiversity and animal welfare
✅ Reducing the environmental impact of consumption
✅ Evaluating and adjusting personal behavior to reduce environmental harm
The session was also attended by representatives of the other two partner organizations. Alongside gaining new insights, the students provided valuable feedback on the Methodology and Toolbox — input that will directly contribute to refining the final versions of both outputs.
This piloting event marked a key milestone in ensuring that the TRANS4GREEN tools are practical, user-friendly, and impactful for the next generation of green-skilled tourism professionals.
✨ Stay tuned as we continue piloting across partner countries and share more results from the field!
