“Guidelines for Organizing Green Skills Training in VET through Active Learning Methods”

After months of dedicated development, we are proud to launch the TRANS4GREEN ToolBox — a comprehensive set of training resources designed to support the implementation of the TRANS4GREEN Methodology and the integration of green skills into Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the tourism sector.

At the end of September, a pilot testing of the TRANS4GREEN ToolBox took place in Varna, involving 15 young people with disabilities from the Sheltered employment center “Bistro Academica”.

On 16 September 2025, tourism professionals, educators, and learners gathered in Kaunas to take part in the pilot testing of the TRANS4GREEN Toolbox.

We are excited to announce the finalization of the TRANS4GREEN Methodology for Teaching Green Transferable Skills in Tourism VET! In support of greening the Tourism VET (and not only) it is freely available to VET providrs, educators and individuals.

Following the successful pilot testing session in Yalova, a partner meeting was held on May 9th, 2025 to discuss the outcomes, feedback, and next steps for the TRANS4GREEN project.

The first pilot testing session was held on May 8th, 2025, in Yalova, Turkey. It was attended by 20 enthusiastic students and representatives from the other project partners, with the aim of validating the developed TRANS4GREEN Methodology and Toolbox.

The TRANS4GREEN project continues. The task of the current second activity is to prepare a methodology for teaching transversal green skills in vocational training and tourism education.

The TRANS4GREEN project has achieved an important milestone with the release of its first reports, focusing on pathways for integrating transversal green skills into vocational education and training (VET) curricula.

The third co-design focus group workshop took place on 12th of August in Lithuania. The event was organised by Graičiūnas School of Management (AVM).
Representatives from the tourism sector, educators, trainers and learners joined the workshop.
