As part of the project’s firts activity, each of the three partners conducted independent surveys of the education sector in their respective countries. The goal was to identify courses, modules, and disciplines where green skills training could be incorporated. Vocational training and education were prioritized as a critical bridge between knowledge acquisition and the labor market.
The findings from these surveys were presented during the international workshop, Green Transformation Skills in Tourism”, held in Varna in June, 2024. Feedback gathered during the seminar, combined with the diverse experiences and perspectives shared by participants, further enriched the research outcomes. The result is a comprehensive report titled: “Pathways to Integrate Transversal Green Skills in Tourism Vocational Education and Training in Bulgaria, Turkey, and Lithuania.”
